Description

Ti metal powder can't  reaction with water, dilute sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and nitric acid in room temperature, but can be erosion with hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid and molten alkali, 

Titanium powder can be dissolved in hot hydrochloric acid and hot sulfuric acid, It also can be dissolved in the mixture with hydrofluoric acid and hydrochloric acid (sulfuric acid) .Titanium powder can increases the N, H, O, C content in air. Mixed with strong oxide can cause an explosion. Titanium powder is stable in room temperature, flammable in high temperatures, Combustion for the silver-white sparks.
